The Impact of GBA Programs Worldwide

Gita and her team have an uncanny ability to unlock parts of an individual’s ‘inner space’ and connect it to an expanded ‘universe’ of potential. Gita and her colleagues showed me a new way of perceiving the universe and our role in it. For those of us having experienced the journey, it is a precious gift.

I met and interacted with Gita as a banker between 2002 and 2011. Five years later, sitting as chairman of the South African Judges Association, I look back with awe at Gita as a visionary and her ability to propel like a projectile, any individual, to a successful career path not only in the private or public sector but anywhere in the world.

In my days as a business leader, I had the fortune to lead the transformation of a number of companies, including importantly as CEO and Chairman. In my mind, one of the most successful was the Breakout program at ANZ in Australia, where we not only transformed the external reality and performance of the firm, but also the internal direction, energy and momentum of our people.

Gita’s impact on the corporate world cannot to be overstated. Simply put, she is a genius in the training room. She is way ahead of her time and her work has started to shift the tectonic plates on which the corporate world stands.

Gita Bellin, in conjunction with McKinsey and Company, undertook ground breaking leadership development work with Woodside Petroleum Limited around the turn of the millennium. The programme was designed to create business performance improvement through behavioural transformation. Programmes were run throughout the company and were successful in creating a common purpose, shared business goals and personal commitment, resulting in measurable business performance improvement and significantly increased employee engagement.

I consider Gita Bellin to be one of the most able facilitators in the world and any chance to grow and learn from her is truly a wonderful opportunity. There would be very few countries today where Gita’s work has not been implemented on a large scale or had a major impact.

Gita inspired, coached, and helped transform the lives of many consultants, at all levels, in our firm. She embeds powerful new skills in our clients, taking on the biggest transformation challenges they face.

Gita is a uniquely effective, spiritually-grounded transformational coach and facilitator. There are very few people in my life who have so thoroughly cared for me and propelled my development. She has been a gift to me and to countless others.
