Personal Data
The following information will help you to understand the purposes for which Gita Bellin and Associates (GBA) will store and process your personal data.
What is Personal Data?
Personal data is any information which relates to a living person, and from which they can be identified, such as name, address, photos.
Processing your Data
Data processing encompasses the collection and use of personal data. Gita Bellin and Associates needs to process your personal data in order to perform its educational, statutory and administrative purposes and responsibilities to you and others. This processing will take place before, during and after your program with GBA.
Examples of processing for these purposes include but are not limited to: processing information about your application; your financial relationship with GBA and any sponsor you may have that has a direct financial relationship with GBA, such as your employer if they are paying your fees directly to GBA.
Sharing of Personal Data
In the fulfilment of these responsibilities and purposes, personal data collected by GBA will be shared with a limited number of parties. These include:
- members of the GBA support facilitator team;
- residential program venues for the purpose of confirming your accommodation and dietary requirements.
Subject to your explicit agreement, we will also share your email with the other participants on your program. This is in order to allow you to connect with the rest of your group both during and after the program. Subject Access Requests
GDPR 2018 gives you the right of access to your personal data subject to certain exemptions. If you wish to seek access under the GDPR to information held about you by GBA or have any queries about the use of your data, you should contact Kate Stephenson: katestephenson@gbassociates.com.au.
Retention
Gita Bellin and Associates will retain your personal data, such as application information, for the duration of your course and for a period of 12 months after it has concluded, after which it will be destroyed. If you have indicated that you are content to receive marketing emails from us we will retain your email address in order to do this.
